Über die Veranstaltung
In this hands-on class, students ages 7–15 will learn how to design and build a raised garden bed using sturdy cement blocks.
Together, we’ll explore the “lasagne layering” method of soil building—stacking natural materials like cardboard, leaves, compost, and soil to create rich, healthy growing beds.
Students will plant tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce to create their very own salad garden.
Along the way, they’ll learn about soil health, plant care, teamwork, and where food comes from. By the end of the class, each student will understand how to start and maintain a productive garden at home using simple, affordable materials.
Perfect for young gardeners who love to dig in and grow something delicious! 🥬🍅🥒
