ASL 201: Expanding Conversations
ASL 201 is a continuation of ASL 101 and is designed to help students strengthen their confidence and skills in communicating through American Sign Language. During this 4-week series, students will build upon the alphabet, numbers, vocabulary and phrases introduced in ASL 101 while learning how to organize, express, and comprehend short conversations in ASL.
About the Event
Each one-hour class will focus on a different general topic of conversation. Students will practice together using common communication skills in both expressive and receptive modes to be able to fully engage in conversations. Students will build upon the alphabet, numbers, vocabulary, and phrases introduced in ASL 101 while learning how to express and engage in conversation with their classmates.
