About the event
🇪🇬Egypt: Two Worlds Along the Nile🇪🇬
Students will explore Egypt through a STEM-centered journey connecting ancient innovation with modern life. Using artifacts, photographs, maps, and hands-on investigation, we’ll discover how the Nile shaped agriculture and engineering, examine pyramid construction and Egyptian mathematics, decode hieroglyphics, investigate the science of mummification and preservation, and compare ancient technologies with life in Egypt today.
Along the way, students will practice observation, problem-solving, geography, engineering, chemistry, mathematics, and critical thinking while discovering that Egypt is much more than pyramids and pharaohs—it is a living country where ancient ingenuity and modern communities share the same Nile.
