About the event

Curious about keeping bees? This introductory class is designed for adults who want to learn the basics of backyard beekeeping in a clear, practical, and confidence-building way.


Participants will explore honey bee biology, hive structure, essential equipment, seasonal hive management, and safety practices. We’ll also discuss local considerations, time commitment, startup costs, and how to support pollinators responsibly.


Whether you’re interested in harvesting your own honey, supporting local agriculture, or simply learning more about these fascinating pollinators, this class will provide the foundational knowledge you need to get started. No prior experience required.

  • Adult Intro to Beekeeping

    This ticket includes a 2hr instruction and hands on activity that will help you get started in beekeeping. This includes classroom discussion and suited up, hands on activity. Participant assumes full liability.
