Get up close with some of natureβs most fascinating animals during this exciting Reptiles & RaptorsΒ class with instructor Wade Caruth!
Wade will introduce students to a variety of live reptiles, including a python and a tortoise, while exploring what makes reptiles different from other animals. Students will learn about poikilothermic (ectothermic) and endothermic animals, how they regulate body temperature, and how these adaptations help animals survive in their environments.
Then, look to the skies! Wade will bring a variety of magnificent raptors, including a peregrine falcon, great horned owl, falcon, and more.
