Session 1: The King's Crooked Castle for Ages 6-9 Measurement Makers: How Big Is It? Before rulers, people measured with their hands, feet, & even their footsteps. But what happened when everyone's hands and feet were different? In our first Creative Math Lab, students will become junior engineers!

Creative Math Lab
Who says math has to be worksheets and memorizing facts?
Creative Math Lab is a hands-on STEM class designed for children ages 6–9 that transforms math into something they can build, explore, touch, test, and create. Through engineering challenges, art projects, games, nature investigations, cooking, and real-world problem solving, students discover that math is everywhere.
Each session, children will investigate a different mathematical concept by designing, measuring, constructing, comparing, experimenting, and creating.
Whether they're building bridges, exploring symmetry with art, measuring the natural world, discovering fractions through cooking, or designing miniature towns, students develop a deep understanding of mathematical ideas through experience rather than memorization alone.
Our goal is to help children see math as a powerful tool for creativity, discovery, and innovation.
