À propos de l'événement

Join us in this lab where we gather lichens, soak them in water then study with a microscope to find naturally occuring tardigrades! Tardigrade means "slow walker" but most of us know them by the common name, WATER BEAR. They are amazing creatures found almost everywhere - deep ocean trench, hot lava, cold artic, and have even traveled into space! The fact they can be brought back to life after being dessicated is absolutely a miracle worth studying! We will enjoy a light refreshment after this lab.
