This new balm was recommended to us by a local Herbalist - Slippery Elm Bark has long been used by Native Americans. Healing properties help with burns, abrasions and serious wounds on the battlefield and out in nature. Salves and balms have long been made from its bark in order to speed the healing process. When the balm or salve of slippery elm is applied to a pulled muscle, bruise, or other painful areas of the body including hemmorhoids - relief is effective. The antioxidant and analgesic components of slippery elm can quickly soothe the topical pain.

I'm not claiming it is the end-all to healing, it is an alternative to highly manufactured ointments.

Ingredients and recipe are simple... Organic Coconut oil, Beeswax, ground Slippery Elm Bark, Chamomile flower petals, Lavender essential oil & honey straight from our hives. We decorate the top with the remains of the Chamomile flower.
