Adult Sign Language Class will be taught for 4 consecutive weeks, led by professional sign language instructor, Pam Butler.
Participants will be provided with foundational information to build their understanding of basic sign language communications.
Interactive practice drills, games and learning will be offered to help participants gain confidence in self-expression using signs, body language, facial expression and proper space placement, using both expressive and receptive skills.
Participants will have homework each week to help retain the information covered in each class. Participants will begin to communicate short phrases for content, meaning, purpose, and intent in their own communication with others.
Feb 3 - WEEK 1: Overview, alphabet, numbers and finger spelling
Feb 10 - WEEK 2: Pronouns, emotions, family, intentions, core vocabulary

This ticket includes 4 weekly sessions of ASL instruction by Pam Butler (Tuesdays 5:30 to 6:30). It also includes all handout materials and a light refreshment. Fee is $11/class/student/week (total of $44)
