We are offering a 3 week class in equine care! This class is great for anyone 7yrs old to adult - it will cover basic equipment & tools, the horse anatomy & physiology, and the final class will be hands-on working with a horse!

Who doesn't love horses?! We are offering a 3 part series for the horse lover of all ages.

>April 8th at 11am - Tools of the Trade: Equine trainer Jade Mobley will be show & teach various tack, tools for grooming and horse health. She will explain the use of each item and talk about the importance in the overall health of the horse. Students will learn how to use the tools.

>April 22nd at 11am - Anatomy & Physiology: It is Earth Day and Jade Mobley will be teaching the key external anatomy and how it relates to the tack & tools in the previous lesson. Students will learn the importance of feed, forage, and minerals in a horse diet as well as exercise.

>May 13th at 11am - Hands-on Husbandry: This is the day everyone looks forward to... getting to work with an actual horse! Jade Mobley will bring in a horse for students to apply the knowledge they have learned. This includes everything from basic water and feed to cleaning the hooves or curry comb the coat to a shine! Students will have an opportunity to have a photo taken and sit on the horse as Jade leads them around the field!

    This ticket includes 3 classes on the dates of April 8th, April 22nd, and May 13th for the equine study series. All supplies are included as well as a light snack.
